I created this portfolio for my sister Marissa Curren as a beta test for a Wordpress template I am currently collaborating on which is intended for public release and possibly later, for sale.

This was a quick Wordpress install, where I created theme templates from a mock-up the client prepared. The idea of this project is to create buzz for this hyper-targeted shopping site, designed to lend the impression of being more like an exclusive deals “club”, if you will.

Odular Charters

A Wordpress template created for a private fishing and sight-seeing charter company based out of Boston Harbor. I created a custom header graphic in Adobe Illustrator to lend a unique feel to the design.

The website communicates an upcoming schedule of events and provides a contact portal for customers to book private charters.

Puma Running

I worked with in-house graphic design dept. to create a flexible Wordpress wireframe/template for their new social-media-centric website. The focus is to promote Puma’s sponsored runners and events with news updates, pictures, and videos as well as an athlete index with stats & info.

Yet another portolfio site, also in Wordpress. With this template, I implimented a flash gallery plugin that gives the site a very sleek look. The flash galleries still update in a snap using wordpress’ built-in Content Management System.

Big Kids Dodgeball

A simple Wordpress CMS for a entrepreneur who frequently holds local dodgeball tournaments in the heart of Boston, Ma. The site acts chiefly as a gateway to his PayPal signup for tournament participants, but also allows him to post standings and pics from each tournament as well as communicate basic information such as tournament rules and tournament location/driving directions.

Smart-E-Bear

This was a project where I was asked to completely convert Intellitoys’ existing flash website for this product into a Wordpress CMS so that they could update content frequently and leverage SEO for marketing the launch of the Smart-E-bear product. I used javascript to imitate the animations from their flash interface, preserving the engaging quality of their original design.

Hill n’ Batt

Andrew Hillary and Brendan Batt are two extreme sports enthusiasts who launched this site to promote their non-for-profit, with which they raise money for several causes close to their hear such as Muscular Dystrophy and Katrina recovery by gathering sponsorship to climb the earth’s tallest peaks and surf the sea’s greatest waves.

The site utlizes a Wordpress framework to update readers on their latest training and excursions, encouraging other enthusiasts to share their experiences and ideas, as well as to reach out to sponsors in order to raise money. A custom header graphic was created to communicate the unique character of Hill n’ Batt.

Tri-State Fighter

I created it for the infamous MMA journalist John Moody as a platform to write in his spare time. The site seeks to engage a local community of MMA enthusiasts, and often covers rising local fighters before the break on the national level.

The first Wordpress template I built from scratch, it is a very simple yet elegant Content Management System for a Personal Trainer based in Massachusetts. I even managed to hand-coded a bit of javascript for the navigation menu. In addition, I designed a custom logo for the header.
